I just bought the first number of OwaSera and in the end there was a presentation of the main characters (Yuu, Mika, Guren, Shinoa) and Kagami describes Mika as "the wife suddenly died".

I guess since 奥さん(someone’s wife) can be use to refer to a women that looks to be married or of the age to be married the English translator might have thought Mika was talking to an older lady?
